Scope and Contents Note
This unique collection of biographical sketches of persons associated with Australian botany in the late 18th and 19th centuries was compiled for the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation by Lorelei Hooper, Ruth Roberts and Margaret Whitton. The information for each of the 471 biographees consists of a summary of the life of the individual, including vital statistics, education and honors received, and a short description of their work and/or travels, together with a bibliography and references to both published and manuscript sources.Administrative Information
