Introduction

To improve download speeds and enhance the usability of the main Catalogue of the Botanical Art Collection at the Hunt Institute database, we have moved the public domain images to this separate database. The identifying information (accession number, artist name, nationality, taxon, etc.) is contained in both databases. The thumbnail images remain in the main Catalogue of the Botanical Art Collection at the Hunt Institute database. For those works in the public domain, the images can be downloaded for publication from the Catalogue of the Botanical Art Collection at the Hunt Institute: Public Domain Images database. These images vary in size. If the image you wish to print will not fit on one page, you may need to adjust your printing preferences.

This version of the database was implemented by J. Dustin Williams using Drupal 7.
